The Hoseasons Owners Conference doesn’t fail to deliver, and this year was no exception, as we made our way to the magnificent Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales for the second year in a row.
Nestled majestically in Newport, Wales the Celtic Manor resort is a sight to behold. The sprawling venue offers not on but two conference centres plus the ICC, an underground car park, swimming pool, golf course and loads more.
Leaving at 7am, we arrived promptly at 10am to ensure we had ample time to set up. The Hoseasons team welcomed us with their trademark warmth and efficiency. As we manoeuvred through the back of the building to unload, we couldn’t help but feel excited.
Our neighbours included Eureka, HLF, Prestige and Jans Modular were all preparing their stands. Across from us stood the remarkable display of johnewright, signage and printers.
After we finished setting up we headed upstairs to check in. The rooms here are stunning and fully kitted out with bedroom, sitting area and a full-sized bathroom.
The first evening was a delightful blend of meeting owners who had arrived throughout the day. Dinner was street food including really delicious Bao buns and burritos. The evening finished at around 9.00 am where we headed upstairs to the bar to grab some food.
Day 2 was an early start being down in the conference room for 8am and by 9am the conference doors opened. There were some really inspiring speakers scheduled to speak through out the day from Daisy McAndrew – journalist, tv and radio presenter to Jason Fox – Explorer, broadcaster and a Former Uk Special forces soldier and Royal Marine Commando.
We spoke to a range of people from those exploring land development to people with lodges that are looking for interior design ideas. It was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it.
By 3pm it was time to wrap up our stands and prepare for the evening Gala and awards ceremony.
It was an amazing evening celebrating 80 years of Hoseasons with delicious food and plenty of drinks. The awards ceremony was nothing short of spectacular and this years Co-host was Tom Allen!!! He was very entertaining and he took the time to go around the room taking selfies with people. The evening carried on into the early hours of the morning with an ABBA tribute band coming on to entertain.
Our second year at the Hoseasons Owners Conference was truly an unforgettable experience. We were honoured to be invited again, and we cant wait till next year!!
