Lloyd Harden Design & Everest Lounge Reveal Brand New Restaurant in Disused Bank

We've been keeping a secret... and we are SO excited to finally reveal what we've been working on for the past few months!

Everest Lounge is moving ever so slightly up St. Mary's Road, Market Harborough to take up residency in the old Natwest Bank!

We have been working with Pradip, Everest Lounge Owner, on the planning drawings, planning application, CGIs and Interior Design for many months and we are over the moon with the result!

The bank will be turned into a bigger, better Everest Lounge, serving the same delicious Indian/Nepalese/Tibetan fusion offerings.

Downstairs will house a spacious open plan seating area with circular booths and bench seating, a stunning bar area plus a beautiful waiting area for those collecting take aways.

Downstairs will also proudly house a stunning private dining experience.. in the old bank vault!

Upstairs, you'll find a glamorous new cocktail bar plus Indian-inspired gender neutral individual bathrooms.

The interior has been carefully designed to create a luxurious space in which diners can fully experience a taste of Asia.

Bright turquoise and burnt orange fabrics have been used for the seating, which contrast beautifully with the original bank features; full-height ionic stone columns, cresent windows, arched ceilings and large chandeliers.

The colour palette flows through to the vault, where fabric has been used to create an immersive group dining experience.

Heading upstairs, the design becomes more modern as we enter the modern part of the building. Once an office, this new cocktail bar offers its visitors a sophisticated space in which to enjoy a drink whilst waiting on a table, continue the night after dinner, or simply to visit just for a cocktail or two!

The chequered floor and large wall mural add some further interest and modernity to this area.

When this opens, we'll be the first booking in for an amazing experience at the new Everest Lounge. Can't wait!
